  __builtin_printf() (___builtin_printf:)

 SYNOPSIS
  none

 FUNCTION
  Used by author when compiling the DICE source with other commercial
  compilers to 'bootstrap' them.  Exists for historical reasons only.

 NOTE
  This function simply calls printf() and should not be used
  normally.
